A look at the U.S. Constitution and how it applies to the June 30, 2022 Supreme Court EPA ruling …sending power back to Congress.

“All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.”

Article 1, Section 1 of the US Constitution

ALL legislative powers – means ALL. Does that leave any legislative powers for the Executive branch? The Judicial Branch? Bureaucratic agencies? Absolutely not! ALL doesn’t leave crumbs.

On June 30, 2022, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a ruling which limited the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) authority to set standards on climate-changing greenhouse gas emissions for existing power plants.

The court ruled 6-3 that Congress, not the EPA, has the power to create a nation-impacting system of cap-and-trade regulations to limit emissions from existing power to push the nation to transition away from coal to renewable energy sources.

You’ll find nowhere mentioned in the U.S. Constitution the bloated bureaucratic alphabet soup we have today. They were first created as an extension of the Executive branch under Franklin Delano Roosevelt in the 1930’s when he created the SSA, FSA and others. The easy way to remember that is FDR created all the acronyms … just like his own name has been abbreviated to one.

None of these agencies are constitutional. They are like branches of government that have largely been left unchecked, unbalanced by the three legitimate branches of government. They are like rogue vigilantes who have become gods unto themselves.

President Richard Nixon proposed the establishment of the EPA on July 9, 1970. It began operating on December 2, 1970, after Nixon signed an executive order. The order establishing the EPA was ratified by committee hearings in the House and Senate to implement Congress-approved rules. Just because its creation was approved by Congressional committee, that doesn’t give it the ability to create new laws. Congress can’t delegate its law-making powers to an independent agency.

The Supreme Court’s ruling that the EPA doesn’t have power to create regulations is absolutely spot on. Even if you want to call these agencies part of the Executive branch, they don’t have the Constitutional authority to create law.

If you look in the Constitution, the only time the term, “regulation” is mentioned is in conjunction with Congress. When someone or a business entity can be punished (fined, imprisoned, etc.) for breaking a rule, that’s a form of law. Regulations are basically rules for implementing a law. The way regulations have been created by the Executive branch and the unconstitutional agencies is completely unconstitutional.

ALL LEGISLATIVE POWERS are vested in the Legislative branch (Congress). If you want a new law, it’s got to go through Congress. A board of un-elected bureaucrats or an out-of-control President don’t get to make edicts that make American citizens or American businesses pay fines or worse for the violation of their stipulations.

Finally, the Supreme Court is doing its job of upholding the US Constitution so that the Legislative branch can do its job which has been abdicated by varying degrees since the 1930’s! This ruling isn’t about whether you can protect the environment, it’s about who is in charge of passing laws regarding it – bureaucrats or Congress (elected by the people).

Biden and the Green-New-Dealers can pout all they want about the Supreme Court decision, but the fact is that the United States of America is a REPUBLIC, not a democracy or a bureaucracy – or at least the Constitution is a document of a REPUBLIC. Not that anyone has really been following it closely for decades. Republic means RULE BY LAW .. not rule by oligarchs, bureaucrats, Presidents, mobs, majorities, or world organizations.

With this decision by the Supreme Court, we can say a massive, “SCORE ONE FOR LIBERTY!” Now, if they will rein in the other nonsense being done by these agencies to the American people.

While the Supreme Court is concerned about bureaucrats making sweeping decisions that impact our economy, I’d love to see them look at the Federal Reserve next … which is not even Federal. It is a private group of bankers who control our entire economy! No checks, no balances, no audits… just free reign over our economy!

And the list goes on, and on, and on… this could be fun!

Shortages, supply chain disruptions, packages that never arrive, worker shortages… Are you wondering what’s really causing them and how long they’ll keep using the COVID excuse? Here’s the real root cause of it all.

I had the opportunity to visit with a gentleman today who as a young man, fresh out of college, spent some time in communist Poland in the 80’s before the iron curtain fell. He intentionally went there to live for a few months because he wanted to see for himself what living in a communist country was like.

He worked at a bank. His co-workers at the bank didn’t dare talk about the things they dealt with because they were too afraid of negative consequences. But there was one gentleman who simply didn’t care about the fall-out. He sat in a room in the bank, alone with the young man and told him all about what they dealt with in communist Poland.

When a couple married in communist Poland, they put their name on a list for an apartment. They lived with their parents while they waited, waited, and waited for the apartment to become available. They didn’t shop for their apartment. They didn’t look around and decide which one they wanted. They were assigned one by the government.

When Polish citizens reached a specific age where they were allowed to buy a car, they put their name on a list to apply for one. If accepted, they made payments toward the car, and when the car was finally paid off, then they would be able to obtain the car.

Once someone became the owner of a vehicle, they were able to buy a certain number of credits for gasoline. But the amount of gasoline you could buy was very limited. You were never able to purchase much gas … especially not enough to drive across the border to escape.

When this young man went to a store, he walked right in and everyone fussed at him, “You can’t do that! Get back here and get in line.” Stores paced how many people were allowed in at a time. There was a finite amount of products, and they had to control how many people they let in to acquire those scarce commodities.

“The Marxists use shortages to control people,” he said. “They are masters at creating shortages.” The man I spoke to today went on to say that the shortages we are experiencing in the U.S. are symptoms of Marxist policies. These shortages are designed to control us.

What kind of shortages do Marxists like to create? Why, the ones that really get your attention and hit you where it hurts – labor shortages, food shortages, fuel and energy shortages, supply chain issues, transportation shortages (chips and parts for cars).

After leaving this man’s office, I reflected on the number of shortages I’ve seen lately. A girl I know can’t get autobody work done on her car until the fall because there are shortages of supplies. My son has had his name on a waiting list to purchase a car for a few months now. He had to put down $250 to be put on the waiting list.

My father-in-law paid for a dishwasher that didn’t get delivered last week. When he called the store, the man said, “Your dishwasher didn’t show up on the truck it was supposed to.” My father-in-law can’t get a straight answer on when or if the dishwasher will ever arrive.

A friend has been waiting for an outdoor shed that he ordered months ago. The store claims it was delivered, but the last I heard, it still hadn’t arrived. My son ordered a computer from HP that never arrived, and we finally had to file a police report to get our money back.

Store shelves are barer than I’ve ever seen them. Businesspeople I meet complain that they can’t find people to work jobs.

All these bizarre shortages and disruptions are signature tell-tell-signs of Marxist policies.

Those who will not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Wake up, Americans. The writing is on the wall.

Why Inflation Is at a Three-Decade High

According to The Epoch Times, “President Joe Biden says he’s directed the National Economic Council to focus on reducing energy costs for U.S. consumers following a Department of Labor report suggesting that inflation hit a three-decade high in October.
 
Today’s report shows an increase over last month. Inflation hurts Americans pocketbooks [sic], and reversing this trend is a top priority for me,” Biden said in a statement on Nov. 10. “The largest share of the increase in prices in this report is due to rising energy costs.”
 
The president said he directed his top economic aides to attempt to “further reduce these costs,” regarding energy prices. He also asked the Federal Trade Commission to deal with “market manipulation or price gouging in this sector.” (The Epoch Times)

What’s Causing the Record Inflation?

Why is inflation at a three-decade high? You can go around trying to patch the symptoms but the root cause is GOVERNMENT POLICIES of dumping money into the economy. The more dollars they dump in the economy, the less the dollar is worth and the more dollars it takes to pay for anything.
 
It’s showing up in energy, food, commodities, and it’s just going to keep increasing because they are NOT addressing the ROOT cause. In fact, they are fueling the root cause by dumping trillions of dollars onto the fire. It’s not “price gouging” … that’s a strawman enemy… it’s the fact that the dollar just is NOT worth what it used to be.
 
I really really wish everyone was required to take a basic economics class that was explained well. Maybe then people would understand that THERE IS NO FREE LUNCH… NO FREE MONEY… NO FREE ANYTHING. There is always a price attached. Inflation is the most common one.

Do You Remember 9-11

Do You Remember 9/11?

Do you remember the lessons of 9/11? They are incredibly relevant to what we face today. Remember the patriotism? The unity? The love of God and our fellow Americans? It didn’t last but the government encroachments on freedom sure did.

Do you remember when Americans rallied around each other in a national crisis and for several years after? They pulled together in a common cause.

Do you remember an America where people proudly waved and wore the red, white and blue? They spoke of love for country in songs, television shows, T-shirts, and in their every day lives?

Do you remember an America who openly spoke of love for God, family, and country? They dusted off their Bibles and went back to church in droves.

Do you remember America filled with a spirit of unity, where contention within seemed rare? Where heroes were celebrated and we loved and cared about those impacted?

Twenty years ago today America changed. Fear was introduced within our country. Fear united us and turned our hearts to God. But fear also led to crackdowns on and restrictions of some of our liberties.

Notice that those liberties were never restored after that crisis. An airport in 2000 ran very differently than an airport today. When government takes power they don’t give it back. I repeat:

WHEN GOVERNMENT TAKES POWER, THEY DON’T GIVE IT BACK.

The choices we make today out of fear will live on. Just as my children live under restrictions imposed because of 9/11, your grandchildren and your great grandchildren will live under the accelerated restrictions imposed upon our society today. Governments never give back power. Not without bloodshed. Or collapse.

I remember the America before 9/11. The patriotism didn’t last. The unity didn’t last. The love of God didn’t last. But the government restrictions sure did.

Don’t let fear rob you of your freedom, your children’s freedom, or your grandchildren‘s. Those who seek power and gain work on the long game. Inch by inch they destroy your freedom. They are patient. They’re spinning a web.

On the other hand, individuals are shortsighted. All we care about is what we’re going to do this weekend. Or perhaps a concert we want to see next month. We forget so easily the past. And we’re so careless and foolish about the future. Instant gratification is the enemy of freedom. Freedom requires personal responsibility, self-control and vision.

Remember. Remember. Remember the lessons of 911. Those who do not learn from history, are doomed to repeat it.

A Word of Warning to My Fellow Patriots

A logical, common-sense and Constitutional look at the theories that claim the military is really in power and other theories of undercover operations to restore our nation.

As any of my readers know, I have supported President Trump throughout his Presidency. I believe he has done a great service to our country. I also have grave doubts about the validity of our elections and the election results of 2020.

I understand the feeling of utter helplessness that many Americans feel at this time. We feel violated and unheard. While sworn affidavits and evidence abounds, it has been summarily dismissed on technicalities of presentation without hearing the substance of their claims in court. As a whole, the media and the nation assumes these allegations are libelous or false even though they have never been properly heard in a court of law..

On top of that, anyone who purports that there could have been malfeasance is ridiculed, silenced or “cancelled.”

Amidst this widespread hurt among conservative Americans is a swirl of reports that have been building for some time. They claim the military is now in charge of our country and that the current resident of the White House is simply a ruse. Through a series of complex theories which multiply daily, many are convinced the military will ride in to save the day.

They claim we are technically in a state of war (from some prior events), that Martial law will be put into place, that military courts will try the perpetrators in our government, send them off to jail, and re-instate President Trump to his rightful role – or some other variation of this theme. What’s more, many claim President Trump not only knows about, but is also complicit in this complex plan (even though he has never said an actual word about it).

An Appeal to the Constitution

I feel it my patriotic duty to raise a voice of warning to my fellow Americans. I have studied the U.S. Constitution – specifically regarding the military, martial law, and what is possible under various circumstances.  From what I have read in the Annotated version of the U.S. Constitution on Congress.gov, this is what the Constitution and Supreme Court interpretations have to say:

“Martial rule can never exist where the courts are open, and in proper and unobstructed exercise of their jurisdiction. It is also confined to the locality of actual war.” (Constitution Annotated)

Chief Justice Chase wrote in regard to the Milligan trial of March 3, 1863:

“We by no means assert that Congress can establish and apply the laws of war where no war has been declared or exists.

“Where peace exists the laws of peace must prevail. What we do maintain is, that when the nation is involved in war, and some portions of the country are invaded, and all are exposed to invasion, it is within the power of Congress to determine in what states or districts such great and imminent public danger exists as justifies the authorization of military tribunals for the trial of crimes and offences against the discipline or security of the army or against the public safety. In short, only Congress can authorize the substitution of military tribunals for civil tribunals for the trial of offenses; and Congress can do so only in wartime.” (Constitution Annotated)

There must be such widespread war and danger that normal courts are not possible and then the CONGRESS has to authorize the military to conduct courts in lieu of regular courts.

First, we are not in such widespread war that regular courts can’t function. The odds of this level of widespread anarchy occurring is remote. And if it is occurring, we’ve got a lot more problems than who is President.

Second, the current Democrat-held Congress (or even a Republican one) would never give the military the right to try Congress members!

These supposed “military to the rescue strategies” are

  • completely unconstitutional
  • impractical and highly unlikely, if not impossible
  • terrifying

Think About What These Theories Actually Advocate

Do we really want the military to have that kind of power? The proposed solution is more terrifying than the problem.

We’ve questioned the validity of our elections already, and now shall we invite a completely unelected group of military generals with the power and might of weapons, tanks, jets and drones to be in charge? If we give them power will they ever relinquish it? No! No man since President Washington has had the humility and righteousness to step away from power of his own accord.

As for practicality and common sense, are we to believe that a President who was not able to arrest a single “swamp rat” (not because criminals in our government don’t exist, but because it was not within his constitutional purview to do so) is now able to have the whole cabal arrested from some side-perch? The concept is preposterous.

The Real Danger is Spreading These Theories

At best these rampant theories are neutralizing people by breeding false hope so they don’t do the hard work of rooting out corruption locally. They give people the false sense that if they share this stuff on social media they are somehow working to save their nation!

At worst, the promulgation of these theories is breeding mistrust in the cause of liberty.  They have already done great harm to President Trump and lost good Senators their seats.

Continuing to spread these theories will certainly nullify President Trump’s prospects of re-election in the future. We elected President Trump BECAUSE he HAD NO TIES with CORRUPTION. Shall we spread the false claims that he’s in league with a rogue unconstitutional military coup? How could anyone think that helps his chances of re-election?

Most likely all these claims are counter-information, designed by our enemies to undermine President Trump and make all conservatives look crazy in the process. I sympathize with many well-meaning individuals who feel hopeless and are grasping for a life-raft. Please know that those who make up these things most likely care nothing about your freedom. Most likely their motives are sinister or for their own personal gain (clicks, likes and ad revenue).

Another ramification of spreading these things is that we are neutralizing our effectiveness. We live in such a swirl of misinformation, that any appeal to truth becomes impossible. No one believes anything anymore —- including any legitimate reports of crime, malfeasance, or treason by those who have actually committed such. These nonsensical and un-Constitutional theories are quite possibly part of a multi-pronged attempt to destroy the MAGA movement.

Please, my friends, I implore you to stop spreading these theories! Our future depends upon it. We must remember that the end never justifies the means. We can’t violate the Constitution to save the Constitution. If we advocate for these unconstitutional strategies, we are no better than those who have chipped away at our liberties for the last century.

Hold Fast to the Constitution

No one with any wisdom or honesty uses the Constitution when it meets their ends and violates it when it doesn’t. That is what has put us in this mess to begin with.

For example, while we all would have liked Congress to nullify some state electors for fraud, Senator Rand Paul and Vice President Pence were right. Selection and certification of electors is constitutionally a state matter. Congress simply counts the votes. We can’t violate states’ rights and the Constitution to suit our ends — no matter how justified we feel we are or how much corruption we believe exists on the state level. This is a matter for the courts to judge these allegations.  I understand the frustration in feeling the courts are corrupt as well. Yet there are those in AZ who have found a way to have their case heard. Every Constitutional effort should be made to insist on free and valid elections.

If we feel we have been wronged, we must root out corruption at the local and state levels. Not just the federal.

Hold the line. Yes, the line we must hold is the US Constitution. It hangs by a thread and we must do all within our power to educate others on it and see that wise and honest men and women will remain true to their oaths to uphold it.

Americans are being played like a fiddle by both sides

Americans Are Being Played

I have felt for some time that we are being played by both sides… that whether they’re republicans or democrats, they’re the same lot… all in it for power, gain and ratings. They’re playing us all like fiddles… getting us to polarize behind one side or another, argue and fight with our own family members and friends. We’ve been engaged in one giant manipulative political reality show for FAR too long.

All the while, whichever group is in power, you get the same old big government, more controls, more intrusion into our daily lives. President Trump shook up the apple cart. He did what he promised to do on so many levels. Most of all, he did DRAIN the swamp so that we could see who the swamp creatures are.

It’s plain to see that almost all of them are in bed together up there… the fake conservatives and the blatant socialists.

What Do We Need to Do?

I believe the first thing we have to do is stop playing their game… stop watching their propaganda (whether it’s FOX or CNN or MSN). They’re all just riling us up … and to what end?

People who hate each other and don’t trust their neighbors (cause their neighbor might give them a virus or their neighbor might be a liberal … or their neighbor might be a gasp-Trump-supporter) are easier to control. Divide and conquer. Fear is the seedbed of control.

Repair Our Important Relationships and Remove the Real Enemies from Power

The best way we can defeat our true enemies is to be kind to each other, give each other the benefit of the doubt, calmly educate and inform, and love each other — whether we agree about politics or not. If someone doesn’t agree with your politics, talk to them about something else! There are so many other things to talk about! Let’s get creative and find the common ground with our neighbors.

Our neighbors and family members aren’t the enemy. The enemies are in power in our states and federal government. It’s time we replaced the crooks in power with good, honest, wise men and women who will protect our liberties and our divinely inspired Constitution!

Let’s pour our energy into repairing our strained important relationships with family members and good friends.

Let’s pray for America… for the protection of our liberties… for healing… and for a return to civility and kindness.

National Guard troops to stay in Washington DC Through March 2021

Military Presence Staying in Washington DC Through March

At least 5,000 National Guard members will remain in Washington DC through mid-March.

“As we continue to work to meet the final post-inauguration requirements, the National Guard has been requested to continue supporting federal law enforcement agencies with 7,000 members and will draw down to 5,000 through mid-March,” Maj. Matt Murphy told The Epoch Times via email.

“We are providing assistance such as security, communications, medical evacuation, logistics, and safety support to state, district, and federal agencies,” he added. (Source: The Epoch Times)

Why?

It has never been a Constitutional practice to have military occupying US cities. As we look at the fact that thousands of National Guard troops will remain in Washington DC through March, we have to ask ourselves the question WHY?

Conditioning… pure and simple… Conditioning… setting a precedence for military occupying a major city. I wouldn’t be surprised to see more follow suit as rioters continue to do their thing in major cities. Now that there’s no Orange Man Bad to blame, those liberal governors will be placing National Guard in their cities.

And then we’ll be like other despotic nations with a constant military presence fearmongering people into submission.

That’s my personal prediction anyway. Hopefully, I’m wrong.

What Does the Constitution Say About Standing Armies?

ARTICLE I, SECTION 8, CLAUSE 12

The Congress shall have Power To …raise and support Armies, but no Appropriation of Money to that Use shall be for a longer Term than two Years….

“For most Americans after the Revolution, a standing army was one of the most dangerous threats to liberty. In thinking about the potential dangers of a standing army, the Founding generation had before them the precedents of Rome and England. In the first case, Julius Caesar marched his provincial army into Rome, overthrowing the power of the Senate, destroying the republic, and laying the foundation of empire. Hollow Promises and Forked Tongues in the White House

You heard Joe Biden promise he would put an end to Covid-19 – right? You heard it, I heard it… we all heard it. He ran on it… blaming President Trump for every last death. Leading by example with the philosophy that we all hide with masks in our basements, close down our businesses (aka ruin our flourishing economy). Well now, on Friday, January 22nd in a speech at the White Biden said, “There’s nothing we can do to change the trajectory of the pandemic in the next several months.”(Source: The Epoch Times, Biden: Nothing We Can Do to Change Trajectory of COVID-19 Pandemic Next Months)

As usual, hollow promises from lifetime politicians who criticize anyone who actually DOES something. Then go into office, and DO nothing but destroy our liberties.

Follow the Money

What does he want? Another 1.9 trillion dollar relief bill … which means printing another $1.9 trillion worth of debt on top of the $4 trillion they’ve already racked up over this thing. Who pays for that debt? We do! Our businesses, our employers, our children, our grandchildren.

All this time he’s claimed to have the magic bullet cure (which he wouldn’t share until people voted for him, by the way). And now that he’s there, he’s holding it hostage for another $1.9 Trillion dollars. After all, why cure the malady when you have people to pay off … some bribes to fulfill on for delivering the Presidency to you?

Handing Americans $600 here or $2000 there while pumping most of it off into foreign countries and liberal pet projects will reap a WHIRLWIND of economic crisis beyond what we already have in this country.

Paying people to sit home, wear masks, play video games, watch Netflix, and not stand up for their liberties may pacify the masses for a time, but it is HORRIFIC fiscal policy and will destroy the economic fabric of our nation. The dollar will soon be worthless. Anyone who has taken basic Economics knows that printing money devalues the currency.

It’s All Part of the Agenda

Then again… that has really been their agenda all along… to devalue the dollar, replace it with some global crypto currency, cripple small businesses (who are the bedrock of freedom and self-reliance in this nation) and put everyone on Government handouts so we just go along with whatever pitiful scraps they want to give us.

They’ve been telling us where they’re taking us — socialism. What do people think socialism is? Most people justify “a little socialism.” But “a little socialism” is like having “a little cancer.” It doesn’t stop with a little!

In the dating world, I learned if I guy says he’s never gonna marry you, believe him! He’ll use you for whatever he can, but he’s never gonna marry you. When a politician says he is going to raise your taxes and implement socialism (the forerunner to communism) you better believe him!

Destroying Work Ethic is Part of the Plan

As I’ve worked to help people build businesses over the years, I have heard from so many people who were on disability say, “Well, I can’t make that much money, I don’t want to mess up my disability check.”

Take that and magnify it by millions of people. I can hear it now, “Oh, I’d start a business, but I might make too much and mess up my relief checks.” Or as the new taxation promises roll out, we’ll be saying, “I’d take my business to the next level but the government would just tax it away, so why bother?” or “I’d hire more employees, but I can’t afford the new $15/hr minimum wage.”

That’s where we’re headed, folks. Complete and utter slavery because so many people are too stupid and too lazy to realize they are frogs in a pot being boiled alive. We’re already slaves to big government and big brother tech and most of us don’t have a clue.

The solution? Let me say it in a way Biden will Understand: Stop racking up debt and open the damn economy, man!

A Prayer for Our Nation & President Donald J. Trump

Please join me in prayer for our nation and for our President Donald J. Trump. May we put our trust in God.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before Thee as Thy children to thank Thee for President Donald J. Trump and for all his efforts to restore America. Over the centuries, so many have come to this country to live the American Dream. They wanted the freedom to speak, worship, build businesses and provide blessing for themselves and their posterity.

We thank Thee for the opportunity to live in this nation. We thank Thee for our improved economy, for the restoration of our national sovereignty, for the millions who have awakened to the importance of Constitutional principles and a renewed interest in civic affairs.

We thank Thee for the tireless efforts President Trump and his family have expended on behalf of The United States of America. We acknowledge that this has come at the cost of great opposition, defamation, deception and ridicule from those who seek to overthrow the freedom of our nation, who seek to entangle us and enslave us and sell out our interests to foreign powers.

We thank Thee that a great portion of the Swamp has been drained. The water is lowered, and we can now clearly see many of the traitors who infest our federal and state governments and the media and corporations. Bless us to have the opportunity to have free and fair elections so we may now remove these individuals from public office and replace them with good, honest, and wise men and women who love Thee and will uphold their oaths of office.

We come before Thee now Father and ask Thee to protect President Donald J. Trump and his family. Guide them. Give them peace. Help them make wise decisions in the coming days and years. We pray that their hearts may draw even closer to Thee for comfort and inspiration. We pray that Thou would send angels to protect them from those who seek to subvert the freedoms of our nation and destroy our Constitution.

We pray that those who are guilty of sedition and treason will be identified and brought to swift justice. Help them to confess and to repent of their activities. Turn their hearts to Thee. Bring an even greater awakening to not only our nation, but also to the world. Open the eyes of all the people of the world to see that the powers that have gotten above us in our governments, media and corporations seek to overthrow the freedom of all nations, lands and people.

Satan was cast out of heaven because he wanted to force all people to do his bidding. His great aim was to take away our freedom to choose. God values freedom so highly that He allows us to choose unwisely and make mistakes and even choose iniquity.

Our freedom to choose is so important to God that He sent His only begotten Son to die for us, to pay for our sins and mistakes, to redeem us. By His stripes we are healed – when we turn to Him and confess and forsake our sins through His grace. We thank Thee for this gift of choice. We thank Thee for a nation that has acknowledged and protected our freedom to speak, to think, to act and also to reap the consequences of our actions. We pray that the attacks upon these God-given rights will cease.

There are those in this nation who use their power of choice to choose evil, to choose depravity, and to choose to control and steal the fruits of other people’s labors.

Jesus said, “Whatsoever you have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.” (Luke 12:3) Father, we ask that the crimes of the traitorous and evil shall be spoken upon the housetops, and their secret acts be revealed.

We put our trust in Thee. We trust that the truth will be revealed and that in a not-too-distant day, we shall meet our Savior face to face and every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is the Lord. May we be found worthy and comfortable to be in His holy presence.

We pray that “when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.“ (1 John 3:2)

Help us to rise above the petty divisions and come together in peace as Americans in unity and love of God, family, and country. Help us to rally around the Constitution and our flag which represents our Republic and stands for “one nation, under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.” Help us to work together to preserve and protect this great nation for which so many have shed their precious blood and devoted their lives and fortunes to build and protect. May we honor them and preserve their legacy!

May Thy Will be done.

The Big Tech Beast

I had a dream last night that the “beast” mentioned in the Book of Revelation is related to Big Tech and that the head that appeared to have received a mortal wound and then his deadly wound was healed and all the world wondered after the beast was Facebook. I specifically saw M.Z.’s face.

When I woke up, I got to thinking about the parallels to Big Tech and the “heads” of John the Revelator’s “Beast.” And no, I’m not saying that my dream is a literal prophecy of any kind… just something to make me think. As a lifelong student of the Bible, I have learned that the Bible has multiple layers, applications and symbolic meanings that can be applied to many things.

So, let’s apply the beast metaphor to Big Tech for just a moment … just for fun … and insight.

The Beast has Seven Heads and Ten Horns.

A quick search reveals that “the seven most valuable U.S. technology companies — Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Alphabet, Facebook, Tesla and Nvidia — picked up a combined $3.4 trillion in market cap in 2020, powering through a global pandemic and broader economic crisis.” (CNBC “Techs Top Seven Companies Added 3.4 Trillion in Value in 2020, December 31, 2020)

“The Beast was like a Leopard (Germany), and his feet were as the feet of a bear (Russia), and his mouth as the mouth of a lion (Britain), and the dragon (China) gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.” (Revelations 13:2)

“And I saw one of his heads as if it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.” (In my dream this was Facebook. But it could just be a symbol to me for a Big Tech company and a recognizable face.)

“And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?”

We’re all sitting around looking at our phones, bowing our heads to them. We won’t leave home without them. Could this be viewed as worship? And aren’t you starting to wonder like I am, “Who can stand up to these people? They control everything? If they want to shut you down, you’re gone. If they want to silence you, you’re silenced. If they want you fired, you’re fired.”

“And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.” (Revelations 13:5-7)

There is a war being waged on the voices of conservatives. People are being silenced. God and religion are scoffed and ridiculed, and Biblical principles are deemed hate speech and politically incorrect. We can easily see how if their ability to censor and control continues, it could completely silence any voices that do not align with their agenda.

“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.” (Revelation 13:11-12)

As we move to global governance, will some other tech conglomerate come into play? I keep seeing this image of everyone bowing their heads to their phones and their devices. Did this look like worshipping to John the Revelator?

“And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men.“

Tesla put all those satellites into space. They’re about communication, but what else can they do?

“And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.” (Revelation 13:13)

The entire world is constantly being deceived because of Big Tech and by Big Tech. John would have perceived what Big Tech can do as miracles! He’d seen nothing like it!

“And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.” (Revelations 13:15)

The image of the beast … the pictures, the videos, the technology that SPEAKS. If we don’t worship it (use it / buy it / integrate it / go along with its messaging), how bad will it get?

“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” (Revelation 13:16-17)

Notice the right hand (we hold our phones in our right hands, and we’re aiming our foreheads at our devices. Our foreheads represent our minds and what we feed them and what we think about. Big Tech DOES control many people’s minds and what we look at / view.

I’m already seeing stores that won’t let you get cash back, then there is the coin shortage… we’re moving completely to digital currency. If we don’t use Big Tech, will we be able to buy or sell before long without it? Will sick people be able to buy their medications without it? Will people be able to buy food without it? What about gas? Or pay your mortgage?

Again, I’m not prophesying or even saying we shouldn’t use technology. But I am saying, we should be mindful of how we let it control us and our minds! How much time, energy and money are we giving to these things? Is it a form of “worship?” Definitely something to self-reflect on. And perhaps we need to start looking at more ways to be self-sustainable where we are not so reliant on them.
