the rise and fall of the republic

The Fall of the Republic

Today I was reading in a history of the rise, fall and destruction of two nations (The Book of Mormon). It illustrates how both societies were destroyed by secret combinations. Their story has huge parallels to our day. These secret combinations had their Satanic oaths and covenants where they agreed to protect each other and commit murder and plunder for gain and power. The intent of secret combinations is to destroy the freedom of all lands, nations and people.

In 3 Nephi 1-7 which spans 33 years, the two factions of people who had once been bitter enemies (the Lamanites and Nephites) unite to remove the secret combinations. The secret combinations have gotten so bad they are burning, looting, destroying cities and murdering people.

Through their sophistry, the secret combinations (aka Gadianton Robbers) flatter, deceive and lure the rising generation to their cause. Because of the contention and divisiveness among the people, the Gadianton Robbers get the upper hand. The people are almost about to be destroyed by these robbers.

Eventually it gets so bad, the people gather in one city with all their flocks, herds, food, horses and chariots. They fortify this city with walls and armed guards, and they have enough of everything they need to hold up there for 7 years.

Because the Gadianton Robbers produce nothing and subsist on looting and murdering people to get what they need, they are forced to live on wild beasts. Eventually, they kill all the beasts and must come up against the city to battle.

“As the Lord liveth, except ye repent of all your iniquities, and cry unto the Lord, ye will in nowise be delivered out of the hands of those Gadianton Robbers.”

(Lachoneous leader of the Nephites — 3 Nephi 3:15)

They try to defeat the people of the city, but the people have repented, and they have called upon God. God helps them slaughter tens of thousand of the Gadianton Robbers. Eventually, through stratagem, the robbers are wiped out.

After a couple years, the people return to their lands. But they get proud and break into classes based on wealth and education. Within a matter of only a few short years, another cabal forms and destroys their government. The people break into tribes. The tribes are enemies with each other, but their common enemy is the cabal, and they make a covenant not to fight among the tribes.

Across these 33 years (Jesus Christ’s lifetime) the people become so wicked that they stone and execute those who call them on their iniquity. Their wicked judges execute the righteous and the people are fighting and contending with each other. Their entire republic has collapsed.

A great destruction occurs simultaneously with Christ’s death on the cross. Mountains become valleys, mountains spring up in the center of cities, some cities are sunk, the wicked die. The more righteous part of the people remains. Christ appears to them, teaches them, and heals their sick and afflicted.

There are so many parallels to our day in this story. The common thread is the contention and divisiveness among the people. This contention opens the door for the secret combinations to get a greater hold. It allows the rising generation to be flattered away, deceived, and led into the secret combination.

What ultimately leads to their destruction is…

  1. Turning away from God and persecuting the believers and those who hold up a standard of truth.
  2. Pride, contention and in-fighting
  3. Allowing the secret combinations to infiltrate their land, infest their government and their cities

As I’ve reviewed this story again, it strikes me how important it is not only to turn to God and obey His commandments, but also to avoid contention and divisiveness. This doesn’t mean we can’t stand up for truth.

There will always be those who fight and hate those who share God’s truth. We can’t help how other people feel about that. What we can control is how we feel about them. We don’t have to hate them. We don’t have to be rude, angry or divisive. We can stand solidly for truth and freedom principles without hating those who have been deceived by the cunning sophistry, flattery and deception of our modern-day secret combinations.

What made the people in this book “wicked” was how they let what was happening affect their hearts. They let it make them hateful toward others. They let it make them bitter and angry. They were so contentious they let their republican form of government be destroyed.

I hope we can do better.

Whether the destruction of our republic happens or not, reviewing this story made me ask myself…

Am I letting all of this make me hate other people? or groups of people? Mainly, the people who I believe are seeking to destroy our freedoms? What’s in my heart? Sometimes I’m downright angry and mad. Where can that lead me?

Not to a good place, according to this story.

personal freedom in a PC world

Personal Freedom in a PC World

There are a lot of people out there telling other people what to do, how to live their lives, how to interact with others, what they have to do for health reasons, how to run their businesses, etc.

There’s something I’ve learned by rearing 6 children, running a business for 30 years, and working with thousands of people: No two people are the same. No two lives are the same. What is right for me may not be right for you. Only God has your answers. There are a few absolute truths (like the 10 commandments) but beyond that, the choices we make are best made between us and God.

If we want to take other people’s advice, fine. But their advice and views should never be forced on us. And we must never force our answers on other people. We don’t get to shame or use government force to push our answers onto other people. To do so is unrighteous dominion and infringement on other people’s lives, liberty and pursuit of happiness.

Learn to listen to the Spirit! Heed Its counsel for you. And remember what it tells you to do today could change tomorrow. The Spirit can help you dodge and weave through the obstacles of life. Get good at listening and obeying.

If you would like to get better at this, I have a whole free Masterclass on living a Spirit-Led life. Details here.

What does defund the police really mean? What's the end game?

The Real End Game of Defunding the Police

Updated 6/12/2020.

What does defund the police really mean? What’s the end game? While some are whipped into a frenzy to defund police over police brutality, many are shaking their heads at what seems like a nonsensical over-reaction.

Defunding the police is more than nonsense though, it’s a well-thought-out push toward a sinister end game.  Let me explain. First let’s look at what they mean by “defund the police.” What does defunding the police mean exactly?

According to Rolling Stone Magazine’s, A Practical Guide to Defunding the Police:

“Defunding the police does not mean stripping a department entirely of its budget, or abolishing it altogether. It’s just about scaling police budgets back and reallocating those resources to other agencies, says Lynda Garcia, policing campaign director at the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights. “A lot of what we advocate for is investment in community services — education, medical access… You can call it ‘defunding,’ but it’s just about directing or balancing the budget in a different way.”

“The concept is simple: When cities start investing in community services, they reduce the need to call police in instances when police officers’ specific skill set isn’t required. ‘If someone is dealing with a mental health crisis, or someone has a substance abuse disorder, we are calling other entities that are better equipped to help these folks,’ Garcia says.”

Sounds benign enough – right? Perhaps a little idealistic and naïve, but not too sinister. Might even be an idea I could get behind IF… big fat IF… I could trust that it would actually prevent crime and IF … I could trust that it would be done with checks and balances and IF…it wouldn’t lead to something much more sinister.

First, they should call it “reallocating resources” and not “defunding the police” if that’s what they really want. Looters on the streets and the people who took over 6 blocks in Seattle want NO police. Obviously, they haven’t gotten the reallocation memo. They would love to take over the entire country that way. So if they want to re-allocate, call it that and get their thugs on board with that.

Second, while these people who want to “re-allocate” appear well meaning and perhaps even logical to appropriate funds to things that prevent crime, those changes do not happen overnight. These programs they plan to put in place would need to be implemented alongside the current police budget to see if they even work. These things aren’t quick fixes. Human behavior takes time to change.

We have a morality problem in this country — a self-governance problem. When you teach people correct principles, they govern themselves. This traditionally happens in the family, but the family is under a full-on attack in this country. When people don’t know how to govern themselves, outside force is needed. Are we going to start teaching people morality and self-governance? Are we going to start fortifying good moral families who teach their children right from wrong? I seriously doubt these programs will do that.

Third, the move toward more mental health services in lieu of police departments concerns me. Not to say there shouldn’t be good mental health services, but we need to have checks and balances in place. Here’s why…

“On Jan. 10, 1963, Congressman Albert S. Herlong Jr. of Florida read a list of 45 Communist goals into the Congressional Record. The list was derived from researcher, and former FBI Agent, Cleon Skousen’s book “The Naked Communist.” (Note that today’s Progressives are just Communists with a new name).

#38 in the list of 45 states:

“Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand or treat.”

“[Note: The Soviets used to send “social misfits” and those deemed politically incorrect to massive mental institutions called gulags. The Red Chinese call them lao gai. Hitler called them concentration camps.]” (Full list of 45 Communist (aka Progressive) goals found here.)

You have ideas that don’t conform to what society deems “normal?”  Oh, we’ll just send you to a psychiatric ward for “psychiatric rehabilitation.”

Fourth, If this isn’t disconcerting enough for you, consider how the riots justified governors bringing in the national guard. When you defund the police, having fewer police or no police requires more national guard and perhaps even military action on American soil.

The goal is centralization of power. Some governors have gotten a taste of power they never had before COVID and now they want more. With National Guard required to keep peace, you have a state police system. Eventually they want a nationalized police state and ultimately a global police state. People who do not live in your community are much more likely to shoot or incarcerate you on demand when the government dictates.

Mark my words… something wicked this way comes.

It's not about the mask - mask debate

It’s Not About the Mask

Note: By posting this, I am NOT making a statement about whether wearing masks is right or wrong or good or bad, effective or ineffective.

As an energy therapist I uncover and help my clients release trapped emotions and limiting beliefs. Clients come to me because the trapped emotions are manifesting adversely in their physical bodies and/or their physical world. Our internal state creates our external one.

As I see rampant debates and arguments over wearing masks or not wearing masks, it struck me that IT IS NOT ABOUT THE MASK. Perhaps what’s really behind these mask debates are feelings of

  • being stifled,
  • trapped in houses,
  • kept from our friends and loved ones,
  • not being able to run businesses or go to church,
  • being told there is no cure and any person or surface you interact with could be a carrier,
  • AND having any dissenting research or views that don’t jive with the narrative removed from social media

All of these things JUST MIGHT be outwardly manifesting themselves in the form of pro-con mask arguments and even the appearance of the masks themselves.

For many, the mask represents inner feelings of being at the mercy of an unseen enemy and wanting to feel you can protect yourself. How do you keep yourself and your loved ones safe when you can’t see your enemy? The mask is a sign of solidarity, that you care about your neighbor, that you’re doing your part, that you have some sense of control in an out-of-control situation. For these folks,  someone not wearing a mask means they don’t care about their fellowman, they aren’t doing their part to control what is perceived to be an out-of-control situation.

On the other hand, those who really despise masks may not be protesting the mask wearing itself but the stifling of their voices. Even they may not know this is why the mask ticks them off so badly. For many, the mask is an outward manifestation of a world intent upon stifling and controlling their free will. It could feel like being forced to “go along to get along… peace at any price… safety at any price.” The mask is a physical manifestation (or symbol) of all those stuffed, trapped, and denied words and emotions, and threatened core values.

Ultimately for both sides, the mask represents control, stuffed emotions and fears. For many, it reveals core values. Safety and security is most likely a core value for mask wearers. Being in control of their world may also be one of their core values. For mask-haters, freedom and independence carry more weight than security. Their desire not to be controlled by someone else is paramount.

In the end, both sides have one thing in common – they are being triggered at their core values. And it’s all about having control of our own lives.

Just food for thought. And perhaps some compassion for either side.

The great American divide - United we stand, divided we fall

The Great American Divide – What Can Be Done?

United We Stand, Divided We Fall

When I was a kid and would see adults argue, I would observe and listen to both sides. From my outside perspective, I could see that the two adults were arguing on two different channels of thought. Each person had their core values that they felt were being stepped on. Each brought their own perspectives to the argument. Sometimes, I would literally say out loud, “Person A is saying this… Person B is saying this.” I’d try to get the two parties to see that they were each talking about two completely different things.

Since I was a child, they would look at me for a moment, disregard what I had to say and continue their fruitless conversation. Each continued to drive home their point more vehemently, never trying to see where the other person was coming from.

I feel like I’m that kid again, except the whole world is a chorus of the same madness. I scroll through my Facebook feed and see that same dynamic playing out over and over again. We talk at each other, on top of each other, around each other, on completely different channels. And we think that if we get snarkier or angrier or more indignant or judgmental or label them with some offensive label that somehow that’s going to help. We have an entire world of people touting their opinions, never stopping to really understand each other or how some people are speaking from their core value of security while others are speaking from their core value of freedom, or others from their core value of fairness, etc. We will never, ever get along until we learn to speak with another person on their station (or in relation to their core value).

You can talk to someone til you’re blue in the face about freedom, and they won’t care a thing about it if their core value is security. Or if someone’s core value is fairness, they won’t care about your core value of freedom if they don’t see that what you want is “fair and equal.”

We’re never going to change someone’s core values. But if we can at least respect that their core values are just as valid as ours and explain things to them in terms of their values, then perhaps we can start to have a civil discourse again.

Ironically, in a world of instant communication on steroids, our greatest need is the ability to communicate. That begins with respect and a willingness to understand what’s making the other person tick (their core values).

UN and the Who Flags

The Sick Alliance Between Big Tech and the U.N.

Be aware, the World Health Organization (WHO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations “responsible for international public health.”

Who made them responsible?

Did we vote for them? Did we elect them? Who gave them responsibility over your health and mine? I didn’t. Did you?

We are in an all-out war between force and freedom, between U.S. sovereignty and Globalism. And most people don’t even realize it. We have a one-world government organization that is dictating:

  • Whether we can come out of our homes
  • Whether we can go to church
  • What we have to wear or what we can do when we come out of our homes
  • Cutting off in-person contact and forcing us through a communication system that is being monitored in a sick alliance between big tech companies and the WHO
  • Censoring and removing anything that goes against their agenda

They didn’t even have to take over our government to do it. They circled right around it and attacked one of the greatest checks and balances we have – the press (aka the media) and are assaulting our God-given right to freedom of speech and freedom of religion.

It’s time to get the UN (and all of its tentacles including the WHO) out of the US and the US out of the UN (and the WHO). The President defunding them is a great first step. Now let’s kick them out of our decision-making and communications networks.

Congressman Larry McDonald - Signed copy of We Hold These Truths

Episode #37: Remembering A Patriot: Congressman Larry McDonald, Accident or Assassination?

I still remember watching the news of September 1, 1983. I was a senior in high school at the time.  It was the day Georgia Congressman Larry McDonald’s plane (Korean Airlines Flight 007) was shot down by a Soviet Su-15 interceptor. Supposedly, through a navigational error, the commercial flight entered Soviet prohibited airspace.

The most conservative member of Congress (Lawrence P. McDonald) was aboard. He was a vocal opponent of socialism and communism. Congressman Jesse Helms (another very conservative member of Congress) was scheduled for that flight, but made a last minute change. He was not aboard.

While this tragic event greatly disturbed most Americans, my family felt it more acutely than others. Why? My father (Jack Morton) knew Larry McDonald personally, admired him, and worked on his campaign. (A photo of Larry’s inscription in my father’s copy of “We Hold These Truths…” is featured in the image with this article.)

Dr. Ron Paul said of the late Congressman Larry McDonald, “He was the most principled man in Congress.”  My father agreed.

Would the Soviets Shoot Down a Commercial Flight to Take Out the Two Most Conservative Voices Against Communism in the U.S. Congress?

While studying the words of Congressman Larry McDonald, it occurred to me that the Soviets shot down a plane (KAL 007) to silence and remove this man who vocally opposed their philosophy. About 4 months before his plane disappeared, he proclaimed on national television:

“There is an elitist core in this country that has seen value in subsidizing communism, in protecting communism. There is an elite core in this country that has dominated American society (the Trilateral Commission, the Council on Foreign Relations) that have dominated the State Department for forty years and pretty much openly so. Their objective is to bring about a gradual transition in our society, a dissolving of sovereignty, and a moving steadily to the left on the political spectrum … on the road to world government.” Congressman Larry McDonald, Crossfire around May of 1983.

Watch Congressman Larry McDonald on Crossfire, May 1983

I believe the fate of KAL-007 was premeditated. Here’s why…

  • McDonald and Helms were calm, reasonable voices against the forces in the U.S. who were supporting communism. McDonald called out the Trilateral Commission and the Council on Foreign Relations. (You might recall that it was in a CFR meeting where Biden bragged about having the Ukrainian investigator who was working on the Burisma Holdings / Hunter Biden case removed or the Ukraine wouldn’t get their billion dollars. Yes! Biden is CFR.)
  • McDonald had just been named president of the John Birch Society – an educational group that openly exposed the elite players who were undermining American sovereignty and working toward socialism and one world government.
  • The following evidence leads one to believe that the plane actually landed and Congressman McDonald was interrogated, tortured and imprisoned.

Evidence Suggests McDonald Did NOT Die in the Plane Crash

While the Soviets claimed there were no survivors, the Israeli Research Center for Prisons Psych-prisons, and Forced Labor Concentration Camps of the USSR, directed by Avraham Shifrin discovered otherwise. Their reports provided the following information:

Photo of Prisoner Number 3 (to the left) alongside computer aged photos of Congressman Larry McDonald

“McDonald had been brought by KGB to Sakhalin Island and then to Moscow. Upon arrival in Moscow, McDonald was taken to the Lubyanka KGB prison where he was given the designation, “Prisoner Number 3.” While at the Lubyanka, he was kept in isolation, taken from his cell only for questioning. He was interrogated several times by the head of the First Chief Directorate of the KGB, Vladimir Kryuchkov.

Following a number of questionings, Mr. McDonald was moved to the Lefortovo KGB prison also in Moscow for continued interrogation over a period of several months. After a time in Lefortovo, Mr. McDonald was then moved to a “dacha” (summer house) in Sukhanova near Moscow where the interrogations continued.

Mr. Shifrin’s sources indicated that they had strong reason to believe that, while in Sukhanova, McDonald was interrogated under drugs that may have eventually resulted in identity loss.

He was brought eventually to a prison in Karaganda, Kazakhstan, from which he was moved in mid-1987, by special transport, to a small prison near the town of Temir-Tau, also in Kazakhstan. The wardens of this prison identified him from a photograph that had been computer-aged to show what he would have looked like at the time. It also showed a scar that runs from his left nostril to the left end of his lips. Here he was given special treatment but was not allowed to communicate with anyone.

In the summer of 1990, he was taken to the transportation prison in Karaganda. Here, as an unknown prisoner whose file is sealed by the KGB, he remained. As of 1995, all efforts to obtain additional information from the Karaganda prison have failed.” Quoted on Conservapedia.

A Campaign to Reopen the Investigation

On 10 December 1991, Senator Jesse Helms wrote to Boris Yeltsin concerning KAL 007:

“One of the greatest tragedies of the Cold War was the shoot-down of the Korean Airlines Flight 007 by the Armed Forces of what was then the Soviet Union on 1 September 1983… The KAL-007 tragedy was one of the most tense incidences of the entire Cold War. However, now that relations between our two nations have improved substantially, I believe that it is time to resolve the mysteries surrounding this event. Clearing the air on this issue could help further to improve relations.” Helms appended to this letter Interrogatories including the following:

“From Soviet reports of the incident, please provide

a) A list of the names of any living passengers and crew members from the airplane;

b) A list of missing passengers and crew;

c) A list of dead passengers and crew;

d) A list and explanation of what happened to the bodies of any dead passengers and crew;

Please provide detailed information on the fate of U.S. Congressman Larry McDonald.”

Senator Helms’ letter to Yeltsin was prompted, according to the Chief of Staff under Helms for the Minority Staff of the Committee on Foreign Relations, Rear Admiral Bud Nance, by the CIA verified information coming from Israel concerning a water landing of KAL 007. See the Admiral Nance letter to the Director of the Israel Research Centre for Prisons, Psych-prisons, and Forced Labor Concentration Camps of the U.S.S.R.

And finally, Helms added:

  1. “How many KAL-007 family members and crew are being held in Soviet camps?
  2. Please provide a detailed list of the camps containing live passengers and crew, together with a map showing their location.”

The Russians did not cooperate. Even though people petitioned Obama to re-open the investigation into KAL-007 in 2012, nothing appears to have been done then either.

On March 2, 2020, I emailed and snail mailed a letter to President Donald J. Trump requesting that he honor Congressman Lawrence P. McDonald, and if possible, re-open the investigation into what became of the KAL-007 crew and passengers.

Prophetic Warning

People said Larry was crazy. They called him a conspiracy theorist. Today we see the fruit of that “elite core” he talked about and would more likely call Larry a prophet. What Larry said in 1983 that got him killed can no longer be denied. There is a Deep State. There is a Swamp. The socialists are out of the closet and some Americans are so duped that they actively support socialist candidates.

On the bright side, there are too many patriots to silence. Big tech shuts some down, censors, yet this action only awakens more patriots. The battle lines are drawn, and every citizen must take a stand.

Will You Choose Life & Liberty or Captivity & Death?

I hope that we will remember this valiant pioneering patriot who paid dearly to warn us. I hope we will fight to keep our freedom of speech, of religion, to bear arms, our rights of life, liberty and property. We will need every last one of our God-give rights to thwart the swelling tide of socialism that no longer feels the need to plot in the shadows but openly flaunts itself as a seductive alternative to the naive and uninformed.

Every patriot must become a teacher of truth. Awake and arise and hold your flags of liberty high.

destruction of the traditional family

Episode #34 – The Destruction of the Traditional Family: A Strategy of the Left

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, 19.7 million children, more than 1 in 4, live without a father in the home.  Research shows that when a child is reared with their father absent from the home, he or she is affected in the following ways:

Father absentee crisis - statistics on the impact of absentee-fathers
  • Four times greater risk of poverty
  • Seven times more likely to become pregnant as a teen
  • More likely to have behavioral problems
  • More likely to face abuse and neglect
  • Two times greater risk of infant mortality
  • More likely to abuse alcohol and drugs
  • Twice as likely to suffer obesity
  • More likely to go to prison
  • More likely to commit crime
  • Twice as likely to drop out of high school

(Data from Fatherhood.org.)

The Family: A Defense Against Tyranny

The traditional two-parent home is one of the best defenses our society has against anarchy and tyranny. It is in the home that children are taught values, morals, good behavior, cooperation, work-ethic, and team-building skills. Typically, fathers tend to be instinctively protective of their wives and children. Mothers, too, have a natural Mama-bear instinct to protect their young. Each of these individuals brings a unique mix of protection, nurturing, and emotional and physical support.

While stereotyping men as the protectors and providers may have been common in the past, there are plenty of variations. For example, in my family of origin, my mother was the authoritative figure, more likely to discipline, and more likely to stand up to outside forces that threatened our home or those in it. My father provided for the family, brought a nurturing presence, and provided protection in his own unique way. He was never one to pursue conflict with anyone in the world, but has an aura of safety and trust about him. Any worry or concern I had as a child melted away in my father’s presence. I knew he would keep me safe.

Together, my parents were a complete package that helped develop their children into well-rounded adults.

From the very beginning of recorded history, God instituted the family in the creation and union of Adam and Eve. He said it was not good for man to be alone. For children to achieve their highest likelihood for emotional, physical, mental and spiritual development, a two-parent home (while not always practical or possible) is the ideal.

The Family: Archenemy of Marxism

According to the philosophy of Karl Marx (the father of socialism and communism), the traditional family is considered a tool of the Bourgeoisie elite and a capitalistic creation. Marx claimed that humanity lived in tribal promiscuous hordes until capitalism came along and the elite started using the two-parent home to pass wealth from one generation to another. *

Marxism, and the cultural Marxism we see infesting our current society in the Progressive and Socialist movements, is anti-family. Family, according to this philosophy, is just something that morphs with society and has no optimal structure. In fact, traditional family is the enemy. It is something to be undermined and destroyed.

Why?

Strong Families Make Strong Nations

A nation with strong families and two-parent households is more likely to teach values such as independence and personal responsibility. Independence and personal responsibility directly correlate to freedom. You can’t have freedom without personal responsibility. And you can’t have true freedom inside of tyranny (socialism which eventually evolves into communism and oligarchy). The two do not coexist.

Thus, destroying the family is a key method for a gradually devolving free society into socialism/communism.

Strong families are more likely to protect themselves against outside tyranny and oppression. Here’s a personal example:

Decades ago, the IRS audited my father about some matter for which he was innocent. They claimed he owed millions of dollars, which he did not. An IRS agent showed up at the house and began harassing my dad. My mother was sitting there, and she discreetly turned on a tape recorder. After a few minutes, the agent noticed what my mother had done, and told her she couldn’t record the conversation. My mother proceeded to tell him in her no-nonsense way that it was her house, and she could do anything she pleased in her house.

The man left and in time the matter was resolved in my father’s favor. My father probably never would have thought to record the conversation; and he was too gentle to go toe-to-toe with the IRS agent. But my mom, as Southern and gentile as she was, stood up for her family like a bear when provoked. Can you see how a two-parent home came in handy against tyranny in this situation? I sure can!

Attacks Upon Men Are Attacks Upon the Family and Our Nation

Not only are government social programs geared toward incentivizing single motherhood with additional payouts, but also our society demeans men and masculinity. It downplays the role of fathers.

I recently spoke with Christi Turley Diamond (a Director of Marriage Boot Camp  and a Certified Life Coach and Certified Grief and Loss Recovery Specialist) about the work she and her husband do with couples. She said,

“So many men are in self-preservation mode.”

In the work she and her husband, Rick Diamond, do with couples, they have noticed that shifts in our society have had a demoralizing effect on men and masculinity. This is negatively affecting marriages and families, leading to more divorce and to more fathers leaving the home. This, obviously, results in more of the negative effects on society which I listed at the beginning of this article.

A Solution

In her work with men, specifically, Christi has seen dramatic shifts that have helped to save marriages and families. She told me that many times, a wife brings a husband kicking and screaming, completely resistant to going to a Marriage Bootcamp. By the end, the man is the biggest fan of the event, excited to share it with the world. He has found safety in opening his heart and giving a voice to buried feelings. He’s unveiled the wounding that created the walls he once used to push his wife away in the first place. Being in a community with other men gives him the ability to let go of the belief that “men don’t talk about feelings,” which is so deeply ingrained in him by society.

Christi shares, “We’ve made marriage so easily disposable in our county, and at an extremely high cost to our children and our society.  If we realized that healing and fixing our marriages isn’t an impossible monumental mountain to climb. Repairing and healing marriages requires only a few shifts here and there. These shifts create a domino effect that leads to transformation in marriage and re-connection of relationships. This leads to the family unit remaining intact, with both parents.  Many, many times we see couples who are on their last leg literally turn their marriage around in four days.”

If we can keep families together, the result would be a changed nation.

Are you or someone you know having marital problems? Perhaps you’re wondering whether it’s time to throw in the towel or time to stay and fight for it? Christi Turley Diamond and Rick Diamond know how that feels. They were there and turned their situation completely around. Now Christi and Rick work together to help couples transform their marriage as they’ve facilitated a marriage boot camp for years and do virtual relationship coaching. Before you give up, talk to them! Book a free 30-minute consultation today.

Note: I receive no financial remuneration for sharing information with you about the Diamond’s relationship coaching services. I’m simply sharing it as a possible solution for a serious problem I see in the world.

Additional Resources on Marxism and the Destruction of the Family

* Marx wrote in The Communist Manifesto: “On what foundation is the present family, the bourgeois family, based? On capital, on private gain. In its completely developed form, this family exists only among the bourgeoisie,”

Marx believed that abolishing the family would be relatively easy once bourgeois property was abolished. “The bourgeois family will vanish as a matter of course when its complement vanishes, and both will vanish with the vanishing of capital.”

opinions vs news

Don’t Confuse Opinion for News

Have you noticed that the same basic data is being interpreted in a completely opposite manner by so-called journalists and social media? One person reads a transcript and sees a crime. Another person reads the same transcript and sees nothing wrong at all. How does this happen?

I’m going through Leslie Householder’s Mindset Mastery program and this statement stood out to me today:

“”Facts” come in. Simple data. Every thought that enters our mind is nothing more than basic input. WE are the ones who attach meaning to the input. In and of itself, the input just is. It is what it is.”

I was thinking of this in terms of all the “news” we see reported every day as “facts.” Most of what we see and hear is not “fact.” The information we are bombarded with throughout the day has had meaning(s) attached to it. It is no longer “fact” but “opinion.”

Example: Did you hear about the commercial about a man giving his wife a piece of exercise equipment for Christmas? It’s a simple fact… this equipment exists and could be used as a gift. Yet, social media got hold of this and turned it into an offensive thing to give your wife a piece of exercise equipment.

The fact is… here is a piece of exercise equipment. It could be given as a gift. The meaning attached to it was that this misogynistic man couldn’t accept his wife as she was and wanted her to be more perfect. She wasn’t good enough in his mind. Giving her this exercise equipment was cruel and an affront to all women.

Where did that come from? The stories, the insecurities, the drama, fears, and false beliefs of a society that constantly and never-endingly looks for offense in the most benign places.

This happens on a grand scale with the “news” we’re fed. It isn’t news. It’s adulterated data. If we are ever to know the truth, we must find some way to detach “facts” from the meaning we and others attach to them. An exercise bike is just an exercise bike.

“Just the Facts, Ma’am”

So the next time you hear something controversial…

a) Look at the source data. What does it say? What was actually said in an uncut, unedited version in complete context?

b) If you attach no meaning or bias, what do the facts say? What does it say if you do no “reading between the lines” and make no assumptions?
