Happy Americans when Joe Biden Steps Down

Did Joe Biden Just Say He’d Step Down?

Thursday, 9/23/2021, Joe Biden posted this to his “President Joe Biden” Facebook page:

“Folks, I don’t want to punish anyone’s success. But those at the top have been getting a free ride for far too long. We’re going to change that.”

All I have to say is…

Thank you for admitting that you and your cronies have been taking advantage of the system all these years and getting away with graft and greed, treason, and getting free passes for your criminal kids and your own crimes!

When are you “at the top” (as “at the top” as you can be) going to start making it up to the American people? What’s your plan for making good on your confession?

Most importantly, when are you, your VP, and most of the members of Congress going to step down and let some real patriots serve US?

Waiting… waiting… waiting for some real justice. Are you packing your bags yet?

Do You Remember 9-11

Do You Remember 9/11?

Do you remember the lessons of 9/11? They are incredibly relevant to what we face today. Remember the patriotism? The unity? The love of God and our fellow Americans? It didn’t last but the government encroachments on freedom sure did.

Do you remember when Americans rallied around each other in a national crisis and for several years after? They pulled together in a common cause.

Do you remember an America where people proudly waved and wore the red, white and blue? They spoke of love for country in songs, television shows, T-shirts, and in their every day lives?

Do you remember an America who openly spoke of love for God, family, and country? They dusted off their Bibles and went back to church in droves.

Do you remember America filled with a spirit of unity, where contention within seemed rare? Where heroes were celebrated and we loved and cared about those impacted?

Twenty years ago today America changed. Fear was introduced within our country. Fear united us and turned our hearts to God. But fear also led to crackdowns on and restrictions of some of our liberties.

Notice that those liberties were never restored after that crisis. An airport in 2000 ran very differently than an airport today. When government takes power they don’t give it back. I repeat:

WHEN GOVERNMENT TAKES POWER, THEY DON’T GIVE IT BACK.

The choices we make today out of fear will live on. Just as my children live under restrictions imposed because of 9/11, your grandchildren and your great grandchildren will live under the accelerated restrictions imposed upon our society today. Governments never give back power. Not without bloodshed. Or collapse.

I remember the America before 9/11. The patriotism didn’t last. The unity didn’t last. The love of God didn’t last. But the government restrictions sure did.

Don’t let fear rob you of your freedom, your children’s freedom, or your grandchildren‘s. Those who seek power and gain work on the long game. Inch by inch they destroy your freedom. They are patient. They’re spinning a web.

On the other hand, individuals are shortsighted. All we care about is what we’re going to do this weekend. Or perhaps a concert we want to see next month. We forget so easily the past. And we’re so careless and foolish about the future. Instant gratification is the enemy of freedom. Freedom requires personal responsibility, self-control and vision.

Remember. Remember. Remember the lessons of 911. Those who do not learn from history, are doomed to repeat it.

It’s time we restored liberty and stopped throwing it away. To learn more, check out my book, “Restoring Liberty: Personal Freedom and Responsibility in America” available in paperback and Kindle on Amazon. It’s also free on Kindle Unlimited.

TSA Terminal checkpoint

Tell Your Congressional Reps to vote NO on HR 4980

Currently before Congress is H.R. 4980 which calls for a permanent no-fly grounding for the unvaccinated. H.R. 4980 directs, “the Secretary of Homeland Security to ensure that any individual traveling on a flight that departs from or arrives to an airport inside the United States or a territory of the United States is fully vaccinated against COVID–19, and for other purposes.”

I believe in health freedom. You know your body. You know what’s best for it. If you feel that the vaccine is best for your body, great. If you don’t, that’s great too. I believe this is a personal choice. Our Founding Fathers believed that the individual’s right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness were worth fighting for, giving their all for, dying for.

We need to understand that forcing people to get a vaccine is different than the vaccine itself. You can be pro-vaccine. You can think it’s the best thing in the world. But forcing it on people is an entirely different matter. Whether you’ve had the vax or not, it’s important that we all stand up for freedom.

Of all the things we can own in life, our bodies are the most central. Our bodies were given to us by God at birth. That’s an inalienable right bequeathed to us by our Creator. Our bodies do not belong to society or to government. Just ask the Jews in the Holocaust or the people experimented on by that heinous regime. They had no say in the matter.

Forcing an entire populace to take a foreign substance into their bodies is morally wrong. This is a dangerous precipice. We set a precedent by doing this which will wreak havoc on our liberties. You might say, well this is just the same as making children be vaccinated before they go to school. It is NOT. At least parents can choose to homeschool. And nothing prevents parents from taking their unvaccinated children or teens on a plane or being able to buy or sell or go in public (like would happen with the vaccine passport).

Please call, email or write your representatives and insist that they vote against this bill! Click here to look up their contact information.

Main Points of HR 4980

(a) In General.—The Secretary of Homeland Security, acting through the Administrator of the Transportation Security Administration, shall take such actions as are necessary to ensure that any individual traveling on a flight that departs from or arrives to an airport inside the United States or a territory of the United States is fully vaccinated against COVID–19.

(b) Exception.—In carrying out subsection (a), the Secretary shall ensure there is an exception to the requirement described in such subsection for an individual who is ineligible or medically unable to be fully vaccinated against COVID–19.

(c) Definition.—In this Act, the term “fully vaccinated against COVID–19” means receiving all recommended doses of a COVID–19 vaccine that is licensed under section 351 of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 262) or authorized for emergency use under section 564 of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (21 U.S.C. 360bbb–3).

Love Your Enemies: My Dream About Pelosi and Biden

Love Your Enemies: My Dream About Pelosi and Biden

I’ve been learning about and praying about the concept of Christ-like love. As you know, Jesus told us to love our enemies and to be kind to those who despitefully use us and persecute us. I’ve often thought that I can see where I could be that way with ordinary people, but some politicians… hmmm … that’s a tough one for me.

This morning I had an interesting dream. I was in Washington, DC and had submitted my resume for a job in an office setting. I was immediately called in and hired on the spot. At this point I knew I was going to be working in Nancy Pelosi’s office. There was some confusion over where they would be moving her office.

Finally, an address was settled on, and I went inside a government building with long, steep stairs that were rickety. I could feel them shaking a bit under my feet. Ahead of me I saw Nancy Pelosi, walking upstairs to her offices. I marveled that they would put an old woman with such a prominent position in this rickety place.

I understood that she had just spoken on the main floor and was now going upstairs. When I reached the next floor, the person who hired me greeted me at the office door and had me come into a small office that had a desk that ran along three sides of the room. As I stood inside the room by the door and faced the desk, there were two other people seated along the first wall on the left by the door. There was an open desk for me on the right side of the far wall.

“You’ll be editing videos of Mrs. Pelosi’s speeches,” the person explained.

I thought it interesting that they had hired me for video editing since it wasn’t anything particularly mentioned in my resume. I hadn’t mentioned any particular software programs on my resume – even though I am good at video editing. Glancing at the first monitor I could see a Camtasia icon.

I said, “Oh, I see you have Camtasia. That’s good.”

At the second desk sat Joe Biden. He had an article on the screen in front of him. He was using Camtasia for a word processor. I was surprised because Camtasia is not a word processor. I wondered why he didn’t use Word or something like that. They explained that they edit the videos of Nancy Pelosi’s speeches, and then they put the articles at the end of the video.

Strange, but okay, I thought.

I asked who recorded the speeches. The person explained that would be my job to record them as well.

I began to recap what I thought they were hiring me to do so that I was clear on my duties. “So, I record her speeches and then edit them and write articles to go at the end?”

“No, you don’t write the articles. Joe writes the articles.”

At this point, Joe Biden stood up and turned to face me.

I felt rather upbeat. I could do this job. I had the skills, and I could probably finish my work early and have time to spare if this was all I was expected to do.

After I was clear on what I was doing, everyone left the room, but Joe Biden stayed behind. He became serious and said, “I know who you are. You better not let your beliefs interfere with the job.”

I assured him that I was professional and that I would honestly and ethically record the videos and edit them properly.

He asked me if I could do that considering how vocal I had been against them and their party during the election. I said, “It’s not like I’m working on your campaign. What’s done is done. You’re here. I’ll do my job professionally.”

“You are very principled,” he observed as if he actually admired that about me.

“I am very strong in my principles, but I am fluid about people,” I said. As I said it, I had an epiphany. I knew this was important … that I could stay strong in my principles while allowing my perception of people to be open.

At this point I became excited that I might find some good quality… some humanity in these two people. I hoped that while being around them a lot, I might find some goodness in them. Just because I didn’t agree with them on principle, didn’t mean they didn’t have some aspect of them that was likeable.

I then told Biden, “If I find something good in her or in you, I will be the first to admit it. I will be the first to write about it.” His eyes lit up at the prospect.

I thanked Joe Biden for helping me discover an answer I had been seeking … that I could be strong and hold to my principles and still look for the good and be loving and kind toward people who are opposed to my principles.

As the dream ended, I realized that perhaps I could be of service to my country in this place… here among people I had considered my enemies… perhaps I might have some greater influence for good by being myself, being loving, and by staying principled. Obviously, I would have to move on soon. I couldn’t possibly work on their campaigns with the principles they held. But perhaps I could have a positive influence in the meantime by looking for the good.

Hope for the future - Love vs Hate

Confirmation Bias & Hope for the Future

Quantum physicists have discovered that the universe and nature are not separate entities from us. We aren’t victims of circumstances in a universe where things “just happen” to us. We are intertwined and connected with everything and everyone in the universe. We are both the artists and the art. We create our own worlds through our emotions, beliefs, observations, and expectations.

From a spiritual point of view, God created us to act for ourselves and not be acted upon. As Jesus repeatedly taught, “all things are possible to those who believe.” In quantum physics, scientists discovered that by simply observing photons in experiments, the scientists literally changed the outcome of how the photons behaved. They learned that simply observing changes reality.

“Confirmation bias” is an example of this. Confirmation bias is when you go around seeing evidence of what you believe. The real danger in our world is less about carbon footprints or desolating sicknesses and more about the fear, hate, victim energy, and gloom and doom that pervades our societies. We’re literally creating what we expect. By observation we shift the world toward our deepest fears or toward our greatest faith.

In his book, “The Spontaneous Healing of Belief: Shattering the Paradigm of False Limits,” Gregg Braden says, “Widely held beliefs of hate, separation, and fear can destroy our bodies and our world faster than we could have even imagined. Maybe all we need is a little shift in the way we think of ourselves in order to recognize the great truth that we are, in fact, the architects of our experience. We are cosmic artists expressing our deepest beliefs on the quantum canvas of the universe.”

Studying these concepts from both a scientific and spiritual perspective has led me to consider that perhaps the greatest threat to our world is actually mass media, mass communication, controlled by fear-mongering, division-creating voices who shift the beliefs of millions toward fear, negative expectations, scarcity, violent reactions, angry emotions, and destructive behavior.

You’ll find this same fear-mongering divisiveness on either side of the political spectrum. It doesn’t matter how well-meaning or how much we cling to our principles, if we do so with angry, bitter, blame-centered, us-vs-them emotions, we subvert any positive ends we say we are seeking.

Our fate lies in our own ability to shut out the divisive voices of hate, fear, bitterness, and hopelessness, and instead, choose compassion, faith, hope, connection, understanding, light, and truth.

Jesus truly is “the way, the truth and the life.” He is the WAY for a multitude of reasons, but in context of this topic, He is the WAY because His “gospel” is the “good news” … not the bad. His message is “fear not, doubt not… BELIEVE.” His message is “love one another… love your enemies.” His counter-intuitive admonitions require a completely different state of being than we’re seeing at large in society.

The answer to the challenges we face as a nation and as a world lie, not in the fearmongering, hatemongering, divisive labeling, and victim-creating-energy of the world, but in He who said, “Be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

Jesus understood that our emotions and our observations CREATE … if we want to CREATE good outcomes, we must focus on the good, the uplifting, the hopeful, the life-giving, the liberating, the compassionate and the believing.

Perhaps this is why if the Spirit keeps telling me anything … it is to DISCONNECT from the noise, opinions and tumult of the world. No answers lie there. Ultimate truth lies in our constant connection to the Divine! That’s where the answers are! The Spirit keeps reminding me that my time is better spent in meditation, prayer, positive thoughts and uplifting books than in wrangling and contending over every news item of the day.

Daring Dicey Langston, Revolutionary War Heroine.

This Day In History: The Power of One Person

My 4th great grandmother, Dicey Langston, a Revolutionary War Heroine was born today — May 14, 1766 (255 years ago). She and I were born 200 years apart to the month. I have always felt a connection to her since I was a teenager introduced to stories of her heroism – saving an entire village and spying for the Patriot cause.

Several years ago, I wrote “The Patriot Wore Petticoats” about her life.  It’s actually required reading at Langston Charter Middle School in SC (named in her honor).

Interestingly, a friend asked me to speak today about Dicey to her 2nd grade class.  I hadn’t remembered it was Dicey’s birthday until after the class when I saw a “This day in history” tribute to Dicey’s birth.

What are the odds I’d be asked to speak today on her birthday?  Obviously, I needed to remember this heroine who risked her life to preserve life and liberty.

This video is from a speech I gave in 2008 at Langston Charter Middle School.

Dicey has so much to teach us about the Power of One Person to impact the world.  The coincidence of the day makes me wonder if Dicey’s message isn’t just for me, but perhaps you too. I hope you enjoy this tribute to this 14-year-old girl who impacted the lives of so many and has so much to teach us about preserving liberty.

The Patriot Wore Petticoats is available in paperback on Amazon here. In honor of Dicey’s 255th birthday, I’ve released it also in Kindle format. It’s also FREE on Kindle Unlimited.

Where has freedom of speech gone?

Where Has Freedom of Speech Gone?

They’ve removed our Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene from the committees she was on. They’re trying to remove her completely from Congress. She won fair and square here in Northwest Georgia. She’s got “stones” as Benjamin Franklin would say. I like her. We voted for her in District 14 of Georgia because we wanted someone scrappy and brave who would fight for our interests.

They say Marjorie Taylor Greene believes in conspiracy theories and that that’s some kind of crime. I don’t care if she thinks the Easter Bunny is in league with Little Red Riding Hood to take over the Little Red Hen’s bread box. She’s fighting for our rights. And that’s what we elected her to do.

Since when did saying, thinking or believing something become a crime in this country? Where in the world has freedom of speech gone? Since when did we become subject to the Thought Police?

And since when do other states get to take away our representatives? Greene’s not California’s representative or Atlanta’s or Pennsylvania’s representative. She’s ours. The rest of the country gets to have their representatives they voted for. We don’t try to remove your representatives. Don’t tread on ours.

These attacks on Marjorie Greene (Rep-GA) are saying that anyone who has ever had a social media discussion about something that the powerful mobocracy decides is taboo can’t hold office, must be cancelled from their jobs, and publicly ridiculed.

This is a horrible attack on freedom of speech, freedom of thought, and the rights of every American. We’re now not allowed to publicly discuss theories or ideas or engage in discussions that aren’t PC today or what might become politically incorrect at some future date. Every post you’ve liked, every comment you’ve made, every article you’ve shared is now incriminating evidence against your sanity, your right to serve public office, or frankly to have a job and support your family.

Every American regardless of party must stand up for Marjorie Greene’s right of free thought and free speech. If you don’t, it may be you next.

My dad has been quoting this old poem from the holocaust by German Lutheran pastor Martin Niemöller (1892–1984):

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

If under the Constitution the Senate had no right to dismiss state certified and appointed electors even if there were concerns of fraud at the state level, then the Congress nor any other body has the authority to unseat a Congresswoman fairly elected by the voice of her constituents in Georgia District 14. Marjorie Greene has committed no crime. There is no authority to do this to her.

An attack upon one state is an attack upon the other 49. An attack on one American is an attack on every American. Please write and call your Congress members and tell them to stand by the Constitution and protect freedom of speech and thought in this nation by ceasing their assault on Congresswoman Marjorie Greene (Rep-GA)!

If you really want to know who Marjorie Taylor Greene is, watch this.

Note: The freedom of speech for all Americans is also under attack by what is happening in the impeachment trial of former President Donald J. Trump. Read this informative article by legal scholar, Alan Dershowitz here.

personal freedom

What Good Is Freedom If We Live Like We’re Enslaved?

Freedom is an inside job… it’s in our minds, in our hearts and in our actions. Even though we may gripe or complain, we still live in the most blessed and free nation in the world. We have more freedom to create, build, to bless others, and to reap blessings for ourselves than most of the people who have lived on the planet.

Yet, our own thinking, our own limiting, self-sabotaging beliefs keep us stuck behind a wall of fear. We doubt our own value, our own worth, our own ability to create, and to be heard. We doubt and diminish the value of what we have to share. We hold back because it might not be perfect enough or because others might make fun of it or judge it or criticize it. More debilitating is the inner critic that never leaves us because we keep entertaining its nonsense as valid or relevant.

We have things our hearts long to do, to be, and to create, but we stuff them down because we have to be practical, or because society doesn’t value them, or because we think we can’t make money at them.

Until we ignore those negative voices in our own heads, and the criticism (or perceived judgement) from others and remain true to our highest and best selves, we will never be truly free.

We can blame government or society or other people all day long, but it is WE who have ENSLAVED OURSELVES. And so I ask you, What would you do today if you were truly brave? If you didn’t care whether other people thought what you wanted to do held value or if they judged you or even if what you wanted to do didn’t make you a dime? What would you be, do, or say today if you were truly brave?

Only the brave truly live in freedom. Everyone else just makes excuses. What good is freedom if we live enslaved to our limiting beliefs?

New American Interview with Dr. Lee Merrit

Good Medical Info to Build Your Immune System for Future Viruses

New American Interview with Dr. Lee Merrit

My doctor friend who owns several family practice clinics sent me this. Dr. Merrit has credentials as long as your arm with highly impressive institutions and a military biowarfare background. The video is definitely worth your time to watch.

In this video, Dr. Merrit mentions a combinations of vitamins and supplements to take. I asked my doctor friend what dosages he recommended and he referred me to this article, “Covid Prevention Cocktail: Vitamin C and Quercetin.”

God's Promises to Abraham and Sarah

Put Pride Aside: Stop Counselling God

When God promises something and it doesn’t happen on our time table or how we think it should, the natural human tendency is to become impatient and concoct ways to make God’s promises happen for ourselves. Yes, we are to take action – INSPIRED action – staying calm, being obedient to God, listening, remaining in faith and acting wisely. But when we seek to control elements that are outside our authority (what God wants us to do), we can do more harm than good.

The biggest messes of mankind have happened when people interpreted what God’s promises were, and then impatiently tried to MAKE God’s promises happen when, how, where and with whom they wanted.

Even good believers get carried away trying to “make” what they believe God has promised happen. Look at Abraham’s wife Sarah and the crazy way she tried to have a child because she thought it was her job to fulfill God’s promises.

God promised Abraham and Sarah a child, but Sarah was way past childbearing years and she laughed. Eventually, she became really old and still no child. So she took matters into her own hands. She used some law on the books that said if her servant had a child with her husband, the baby would be Sarah’s child. Maybe this would fulfill God’s promise?

So this poor servant (Hagar), having no say in the matter, is brought in, and has a baby with Abraham per Sarah’s instructions. Then all kinds of jealousy and problems ensue until Hagar flees into the desert with her child (Ishmael) and nearly dies.

Most of the mess in the Middle East to this day is because Sarah tried to use her own logic to fulfill God’s promises. She manipulated another person (Hagar), twisted a law around to justify her objectives, and tried to control when, where and how God fulfilled His promises.

Eventually the promise was fulfilled when Sarah actually gave birth to Isaac (Abrahams child). God did it miraculously and completely illogically.

When God promises something, it’s important to realize that He’s in charge of the who, what, why, when, where and how.

The only “who” we can control is ourselves and our motivations (our “why”). God is in charge of who else is involved, why He’s doing things the way He’s doing them, when it will happen, where it will happen, and how.

The more we try to take the reins away from God and manipulate other people or force things into our when, where, how and why, the bigger the mess we make.

In our country today, I believe this principle is very relevant. In all our “what if” scenarios, or gloom and doom predictions or contrived theories, or manipulation of laws, or imposing our will onto other people, aren’t we doing what Sarah did? Aren’t we basically laughing off God’s promises and assuming we have to figure out how to make them fulfilled our way, on our own time, on our own terms, with our own visible resources?

Let’s have faith, be obedient to God, and praise Him ahead of time for the blessings He’s promised the righteous. Then we can stop worrying about how it’s going to happen, and instead “stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.”

What would trusting God look like even if everything fell apart? That’s what I explore in my new novel, “Z: A Dystopian / Millennium Novel,” available on Kindle and Paperback and free on Kindle Unlimited.
